Having our event on a cool December afternoon means we are serving up something fresh, scratch made, hearty, and delicious. Some past trucks included Naked Empanada making fresh, handmade empanadas since 2015, the Southern Connection Food Truck serving up hearty regional southern specialties with an elevated twist and the Cinnabon Food Truck! We will be announcing the trucks for this year's race in the coming weeks. Hope you come hungry and ready to run!

In addition to food trucks the Rocky Mount Mills has great options to dine at on campus. On race day consider checking out River Walk Coffee or Tipsy Tomato.
After the race, runners and guests will enjoy live music from Matty Russo, starting at 2:00 PM and continuing until 5:00 PM. All registered runners can access our post-race celebration for free. Matty has roots in Wilson, NC and captivates audiences with catchy melodies with similar sounds of Jack Johnson, Sublime, and Dave Matthews, blended with live jam vibes reminiscent of Phish and Widespread Panic, you'll love the funky beach jams of Matty Begs.
Craft Beer
All registered participants 21 and older may receive one can of craft beer from a North Carolina craft brewery. Additional beers may be purchased at the Rocky Mount Mills and enjoyed responsibly after the race. Rocky Mount has multiple breweries currently brewing on campus including Bright Penny, HopFly, and Fullsteam. But the Mill Chill doesn't stop there!

We are also excited to have multiple guest brewers supporting our race. Trophy Brewing (Raleigh), Deep River Brewing (Clayton), Bearded Bee (Wendell), Shortway (Newport), Bond Brothers (Cary), Salty Turtle (Surf City/Raleigh), Sneaky Penguin (Raleigh/Warrenton), NC Beer Factory (Rocky Mount), Casita (Wilson), Dingo Dog (Carrboro), Freshwater Beer Co (New Bern), Pitt Street (Greenville/Washington), Oak City (Knightdale), Pelagic Beer & Wine (Raleigh), are supporting j us as well. All breweries are North Carolina favorites offering some of the best beers you fill find anywhere in the state!
